FIFTY-FORTH ANNUAL SHRI SHRI KALIPUJA & DEEPAVALI CELEBRATIONS Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Hyderabad, October, 26, 2011

As a part of this grand celebration, an annual "Religious Conference"
was organized at the premises of the Sangha.

Renowned speakers like Hon'ble Justice N. Rama Mohan Rao of Andhra Pradesh Hugh Court, who also presided over the function, mesmerized the audience by his depth of spiritual knowledge and shared a spell of authentic religious aura. Later, Shri C. D. Tirumala Rao, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, made a fervent appeal to the audience for embracing the path of righteousness throughout their life and serve the people irrespective of their caste, creed and religion as if they are serving Lord Madhava.

Swami Muniswaranandaji maharaj, Secretary, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Hyderabad, gave his clarion call to the huge congregation. He aptly narrated his own supreme faith in the universal teachings of the Sangha Guru Sreemat Swami Pranavandaji Maharaj and categorically urged one and all to sincerely emulate the Guru Maharaj's practical experience with the ultimate truth of life for their own spiritual wellbeing.

Earlier, Swami Venkateswaranandaji Maharaj welcomed the dignitaries to the designated podium while Dr. Pranab Bhattacharya, a Sangha devotee, concluded the proceedings with humble vote-of-thanks.

During the festive schedule, over thousands of poor people, both men and women, were given new clothing besides feeding them with "Anna bhog prasadam".

Later, Das Music International, a city-based concert, enthralled the gathering through the rendering famous Bengali and Hindi devotional songs and bhajans.

DEEPAVALI FESTIVAL - 2011

 
THE GREAT CONTRIBUTIONS OF "BHARAT SEVASHRAM SANGHA" FOR THE BENEFITS OF POOR AND UNDERPRIVILEGED PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS OF ANDHRA PRADESH.(2011)

Under the aegis of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Hyderabad, this year (2011) also, a massive arrangement for free distribution of over 2,00,000 notebooks was made to the poor primary school students, including the agency areas, in the various adjoining districts of capital city of Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. This year the districts were covered namely Mehboobnagar, Karnool, Warrangle, Nizamabad and Adilabad.

This philanthropic endeavor of the Sangha was started since 2008. Irrespective caste, creed or religion, every poor students were given five notebooks each free-of-cost every year wherein about 40,000 students are directly getting benefited.

The selection of districts was varied every year so that the benefits reach to a vast horizon of students of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The order to make this distribution well organized, many district collectors and also relief officers of the government of Andhra Pradesh with the effective guidance from Swami Muniswaranandaji
Maharaj are making remarkable progress in this arena.

The following briefs are made on the dates of distribution, number of schools covered and the dignitaries present on the occasion:

 
 
District: Mehboobnagar (22 and 23 June, 2011)

Total number of schools covered: 31

HYDERABAD/SECUNDRABAD

 
SRI SRI ANNAPURNA PUJA AND ANNAKUT UTSAV – 2011

On 11th April 2011, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Hyderabad, organized the Annapurna and Annakut puja within ashram premises managed and coordinated by Swami Munishwarananda and Swami Venkateshwarananda.

People from in and around Hyderabad flocked to attend, witness and participate in the religious emancipation: Sri Annapurna puja 2011. After the puja, ‘Annakut Bhog’ was distributed among devotees.

An evening gathering was held to hold a religious conference presided by the dignitaries – Dr. Chaitonyamoy Ganguly, Mr.Ramesh Agarwal and Swami Munishwarananda. The dignitaries shared their thoughts, preaching and practices with the devotees and spiritually invigorated them. Ashram’s immense participation in donation, flood rescue camps and other social service initiatives were also discussed. The program was followed by the idol immersion procession ceremony on 12th April,
2011 and it was drawn to a conclusion.

JAL CYCLONE RELIEF WORK AT GUNTUR
Due to heavy rain because of jal Cyclone Guntur district was affected badly. Swami Munishwarananada Secretary B.S.S Hyderabad has organised his team and reached Guntur as on 10.12.2010 in present of B.Ramanjaneyulu I.A.S. (Collector & District Magistrate Guntur).

B.S.S. sangha distributed 525 blankets, 700 sarees and 8000 biscuit packets to cyclone victims as on 12.12.2010 in the Bapatala Mandal and Repali mandal.

Many of famous Personalities appreciate Ashram for this type of Relief Activity.

Flood Relief Work in Andhra pradesh
Andhra Pradesh’s jal cyclone damage relief on 8th Nov, Secretary, Bharat Sevashram Sangha Hyderabad, Swami Munishwaranandaji organized a relief charity team and reached West Godavari on 8th Nov 2010 for relief purpose. He led a team to survey the cyclone-hit district and distributed nearly 2000 clothes, a 4000 biscuit packets among the cyclone affected people. His relief charity work covered almost all the cyclone-hit areas among which Amalapuram was the worst affected area. People appreciated the relief work.

Kali Puja Celebration 2010
In the year 2010, in Bharat Sevashram premises, Sri Sri kalipuja was held on 5th Nov 2010 under the management of Swami Munishwarananda, secretary of Hyderabad Bharat Sevashram Sangha

The devotees gathered in full force to witness and take part in the auspicious occasion.

The puja was perfomed in the presence of uncounted devotees and other dignitaries. The programme was commenced with Shyam sangeet.

1. Clothes were distributed among the poor and needy in presence of Justice N Rama Mohan Rao and Dr K.R. Ramanachari.
2. Rana Som honored ashram activities. The next day bhog prasad was distributed among the devotees.

4. Mr. Sushant Banerjee along with Swami Munishwaranandaji performed homan on the auspicious puja occasion.

Annual Free Note Book Distribution Programme - 2010

KURNOOL DIST.

Distribution of notebooks to underprivileged students of 25 schools covering the district was made during June 21-23,2010. About 30,000 nos. of notebooks were handed over to the concerned by Shri Ram Shanker Naik, District Collector.

 

MAHBOOBNAGAR DIST.


About 30,000 notebooks were distributed amongst the students with economically backward status during June 28-30, 2010. A total of 19 schools were covered. Shri Rajeswar Reddy, MLA and Shri Purushottam Reddy, Dist. Collector, were the dignitaries who supervised the distribution.

 

KARIMNAGAR DIST.


40 schools were covered in the district during July 5-7,2010. Students from economically backward community were helped with free distribution of about 30,000 copies of notebooks. Shri D. Sundara Charyulu, Chief Manager, SBH Regionaql Office, has associated himself with this philanthropic work of the Sangha.

 

MEDAK DIST.


22 schools were covered during July 19-21, 2010. 30,000 notebooks were distributed through Shri B. Sudhakar, DEO, Medak.

 

NIZAMABAD DIST.


21 schools were covered during August 16-18, 2010. As many as 30,000 notebook copies were handed over to poor students by Shri Rajiv Sarma, AGM, SBH Regional Office.

 

NALGONDA DIST.


Joint Collector of the district had participated in the notebook distribution program. Poor students of about 19 schools were benefited during August 23-24, 2010. About 30.000 copies were distributed.

 

HYDERABAD CITY




About 2000 copies of notebooks were distributed to over 400 local poor students from around the city on August, 31, 2010, under the benevolence of Shri Sudhir Garg, Chief General Manager, SBH, Hyderabad, at the Bharat Sevashram Sangha premises. At Chintal Basti too similar distribution was held and about 3000 notebooks were distributed to underprivileged students.

During the official renaming ceremony of erstwhile Lower Tank Bund Road to Bharat Sevashram Marg, Shri Naveen Mittal, Special Commissioner, GHMC, had cut the ceremonial ribbon while declaring open the road in its new avatar. During the occasion, 10 tri-cycles were distributed to physically-handicapped poor people.

 

LAILA CYCLONE RELIEF



This branch of Bharat Sevashram Sangha had vigorously persuaded the relief work during May 23-26, 2010, at Ongole, Prakasham Dist. About 15000 Saris and 20,000 packaged biscuits were distributed amongst the affected people. Union minister Smt. Panabaka Lakshmi, Loacl MRO as well as Manager, Ongole SBH Main Branch, had extended their valuable supports.

Like every year, a massive social welfare drive through the free distributions of note books to the poor students was undertaken by the Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Hyderabad Branch during the academic session 2009-10. The following locations are covered as mentioned in brief:

1. Dayananda Vidya Mandir – 300 students – 2500 notebooks distributed (16.06.2009)

2. Gandhi Road Govt. School, Brahmanwadi- 200 students- 1000 notebooks distributed (17.06.2009)

3. Govt. Primary School (near Dist. Hospital), Ramnagar School, another 4 schools at Veerannapet- 9800 notebooks distributed 18.06.2009).

4. Gandhinagar Model Basic School- 1000 students- 3500 notebooks distributed (19.06.2009).

 
Jadcherla
1. Nine to ten schools including Residential Girls School were covered and over 5000 notebooks were distributed (29.06.2009).
 
Warrangal
Modern High School (near Indian Red Cross Society) and some schools at places like Tirumaldevgutta, Veerannapet, Kumarwadi, Chinnadarpalli etc were covered and about 6500 notebooks were distributed 30.06.2009).
 
Mahaboobnagar

1. A.P.S.W.Residential Girls School (near Stadium Ground) – 356 students - 1780 notebooks distributed (29.06.2009).

3. Modern High School, Tirumaldevgutta Primary & High School. Zilla Parishad Primary & High School, Chinnadarpalli, Peddadarpalli Primaqry & Junior High School, Policeline Primary & High School, Govt. Primary School, Kummarivadi, Govt. high School, Veerannapet- 4000 students – 20564 notebooks distributed (30.06.2009).

4. Zilla Parishad High Schools (both at Enugaveda and Appannapalli), Mandal Parishad Primary School, Mangalikunta Tanda, Primary School Nakkalbanda Tanda – 604 students – 3100 notebooks distributed (01.07.2009).
